OUR MISSION

Downtown Churches United, Inc. is a union of the faith community and other human service organizations responding to the essential needs of the Greater Petersburg Region by serving as a centralized source of outreach services.

HOPE FOR THOSE IN NEED

The HOPE Center

Our goal is to meet the needs of the community through a daily lunch feeding program, food pantry, and utilities assistance.

Rev. Todd serves as an Adjunct Professor at Virginia State University.  She also serves as an Associate Minister at First Baptist Church (Harrison Street)

Financial Secretary

Mr. Roger Cosey

Mr. Cosey is a retired Army Logistician and Retired Supply Planner with the Defense Supply Center of Richmond. He is a member of Oak Street AME Zion Church.

Corresponding Secretary

Ms. Johnson is the Secretary of Gillfield Baptist Church in Petersburg.
